We are faced with the confusing truth that statistically, it’s the best time to be alive, making it feel wrong, selfish even, to complain. But it doesn’t feel like the best time to be alive. And just because it’s never been better, shouldn’t mean this is the best it gets.
Every new generation gets labelled by the older ones, rarely is it positive. So why not, tongue-in-cheek, play into the classic trope of angry youth? This series explores some of the unique challenges that we face and why, perhaps, a little anger might be needed to address them.
Welcome to The Angry Generation, I hope you enjoy the Show!

It’s hard to be a boy. Let me introduce you to three of them. One was my friend in primary school, another my friend from mini-rugby, the final being a student two years below me in secondary school. Indeed, we are everything wrong with the world, but everything right with it too. We are irrational creatures, unaware of our own shortcomings, who can be easily manipulated. However, this angry yet?

When I grow up, I want to be a professional amateur sports player. That’s what I tell my parents anyway when they ask. The issue is, I’m 23 and apparently I need a job. But why? I don’t want to sit in a grubby, little office obeying a well-ironed suit all day. That sounds like angry yet?

How about the decisions being made on our behalf that impact everyone, both living and those to come? Usually, not much. And it makes… angry yet?
